On Day 1, after arriving in Siliguri, head to Lataguri where you'll explore the local attractions including famous tea estates of Lataguri and Neora valley National Park. Day 2, begins with an exhilarating safari at Gorumara National Park, followed by a visit to the picturesque village of Sittong, nestled amidst tea gardens and orange orchards. Day 3, takes you to the hidden gems of Jhallong, where you'll immerse yourself in nature through activities like birdwatching and spend a beautiful evening by the Jaldhaka river. Concluding the journey on Day 4, venture to the scenic Rocky Island before returning to Siliguri, cherishing the memories of this unforgettable exploration of nature's wonders in the Dooars region.
Jalpaiguri, Gorumara National Park and Sittong Tour Itinerary
Spend a relaxing evening, as we head towards the tea estates of Lataguri and a majestic view of the Neora railbridge.
By the evening, get ready for a bonfire.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Post breakfast head for the local sightseeing of Sittong
Places to visit - Ahaldara view point, Namthing PokhriJogighat bridge.
We return back Lataguri to spend the night
On the way, we visit the famous Murti riverside, Laliguras view point.
Stop at the scenic tea gardens of Samsing for a wonderful photoshoot.
Reach Jhallong at the afternoon and then spend the sunset hour beside the Jaldhaka river.
Post breakfast, depart for Bindu, the last village just a few meters away from the Indo-Bhutan border.
We visit the Bindu barrage located upstream on the Jaldhaka River.
On the way back, we go through the Kumai Forest and visitthe remaining 4 spots on our list like Rocky island.
Return back to Siliguri, NJP or New Mal Junction .
