Morning
Starting as early as 7:30 am in the morning, we pick up from a variety of places in the district, as we head towards the western banks of the Hooghly River
We let our eyes witness the mesmerizing architecture of the Zafar Khan Gazi mosque as soon as we enter Hooghly district. After visiting the monument, we stop for a short break for photography on the banks of the beautiful river
We enter the town which is not only famous for its medieval temples but also known for the discovery of the 'Gupo Sandesh'. See some of the most magnificent works of Terracotta in both 'Aatchala' and 'Ekchala' style of temples
Afternoon
The lunch included in our itenary serves you the best foods from the Bengali cuisine. You can choose between Vegetarian food items and non-Vegetarian food items and a variety of Fishes
The second leg of our exploration begins as we enter the temple town of Ambika Kalna. This place was named after a form of Goddess Kali, Maa Ambika. Today the Siddheswari Temple, the 108 Shiva Temple stands witness to the kingdom of the Maharajas of Bardhaman of the 18th century.
After visiting all the marvels of Ambika Kalna, we head for the city via the way we went. This ends a beautiful day spent at three different towns of Bengal
